The lower internal air pressure caused by the blower sucks the web onto the roll surface of predetermined wrapping angle. ● The web's contact with the predetermined area of the roll is perfect and its whole perfect contact area is about 5 to 10 times of that of any conventional suction roll. Its stronger gripping force, 2 to 3 times more than that of any conventional suction roll, enables to reduce the suction pressure( in other words, a smaller blower will do the job) and also eliminates the risk of suction mark on the web. ● The suction force is applied to the web through the very narrow gaps among the wires, and each slit length of more than 4mm can remove out the dust etc. resulting in less plugging. ● Free selection of the wire diameter and the wire pitch enables to have a stronger grip and eliminate the risk of suction mark. ● The unique design to have a suction box at one side or both sides for sucking the whole internal room of the slit type WIRE SUCTION ROLL can eliminates the internal cylinder and the trouble of the touching of the external and internal sleeves caused by the roll deflection due to the difference of ambient air temperatures. ● The stronger gripping force enables to reduce the suction area. This means a　smaller diameter roll, a smaller GDm2(Moment of inertia) and a smaller driving motor.
