[Non-contact 180-degree tension-measuring device]
The non-contact 180-degree tension-measuring device will measure tensions by using two units of the 90 degrees AIR-TURNBAR and one unit of the 180-degree AIR-TURNBAR.
With the ordinary product, this method is conducted with the ordinary guide roll, and tensions are measured by using the load sensor such as strain gauge installed on the guide roll bearing part of the center line. The right figure shows that one or several pressure sensors are built in the inside top of the 180-degree AIR-TURNBAR at the center to measure tensions without contacting to the film.
This has features of high-speed responding performance with no mechanical loss, and is used for precise measurement of extremely low tensions.
 
     
[Non-contact parallel tension measuring device]
The non-contact parallel tension-measuring device will measure many film tensions simultaneously by using one unit of the 90-degree AIR-TURNBAR. This measurement cannot be conducted with the ordinary method. The measuring method of tensions is same as the other methods of this product. The required number of the pressure sensor will be built in near the top of the 90-degree AIR-TURNBAR.
This has features of individual tension measurement of multi line films after the slitter, and the individual dancer effect since it is floating without contacting. It can be rolled up very smoothly since the tension variation and film thickness deviations are absorbed. Furthermore, this also has features of high-speed responding performance with no mechanical loss, and is used for precise measurement of extremely low tensions.
 
     
[Small holding angle tension measurement]
The small holding angle tension measurement is an application for general coating devices or printing machines. When films etc. enter the dehydrator after the coating device, the holding angle of the film is very small against the guide roll as shown in the figure, the guide roll may have some defective rotation. With the ordinary method, the film-holding angle to the guide roll is not sufficient to install the tension-measuring device. In this application, the flat AIR-TURNBAR is used instead of the guide roll the non-contact tension sensor is installed in the AIR-TURNBAR. As a result of this arrangement, the non-contact tension measurement and the film guiding can be conducted, so that the tension at the important coating part can be maintained stably and the measurement of low tensions can also be controlled.
