Through the hole of one side journal of the internal cylinder, compressed air is sent into the cylinder, goes through the tiny multi-holes into the narrow room in between the internal cylinder and external cylinder, makes a non contact floating of the external cylinder by the air pressure, then goes out through the thrust type PNEUMATIC BEARINGs of both sides of the roll where this air keeps the gap there, to the atmosphere. This “BELLFROLLER" is a unique PNEUMATIC BEARING Type Free Guide Roll with the above mentioned working principle. ● ● ● ● ● Inertia (GD2)is 1/4〜1/10 of that of conventional rolls.
